Legal Framework
Terms of Service
This document constitutes a legally binding agreement governing your access to and use of the Nexus Analytics application and its related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you signify your agreement to these Terms of Service.
1. Scope and Nature of the Service
Nexus Analytics provides an AI-powered analysis of professional profiles and resumes. This Service is offered for informational and educational purposes only. The feedback, scores, and recommendations are generated by a large language model and are intended to serve as guidance. The Service does not constitute professional career advice and is not a guarantee of employment, recruitment success, or any specific career outcome.
2. User Obligations and Acceptable Use
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the data you submit to the Service. You agree not to use the Service to process any information that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise malicious. You shall not input sensitive personal data beyond what is typically included in a professional resume (e.g., government identification numbers, private financial information). When providing experience information, you should include clear date ranges for employment periods to ensure accurate analysis.
3. Data Privacy and Security Policy
Nexus Analytics is architected with a "privacy-by-design" philosophy. Our commitment to your data privacy is absolute:
- No Server-Side Storage: The Service does not save, store, log, or retain any of the professional data you enter (including profile text and uploaded resume contents) on our servers.
- Ephemeral, Real-Time Processing: Your data is transmitted securely via HTTPS to the Google Gemini API for the sole purpose of generating your analysis in real-time. This data is processed ephemerally and is not used for any other purpose.
- Anonymous and Stateless Sessions: Each interaction with the Service is treated as an independent, anonymous session. We do not track users across sessions.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
You retain full ownership of the underlying content (e.g., your resume text) that you provide to the Service. We, Nexus Analytics, retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service itself, which includes but is not limited to the application software, design, branding, user interface, and the proprietary structure of the analysis reports.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEXUS ANALYTICS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
NEXUS ANALYTICS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PERFECTLY ACCURATE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE OUTPUT IS GENERATED BY A PROBABILISTIC AI MODEL AND MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES OR VARIATIONS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL NEXUS ANALYTICS, ITS CREATORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nexus Analytics and its employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
7. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
